Long Nguyen

Remedial Massage Therapist & Personal Trainer

“Hi, there! I’m the Remedial Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer of Hand in Hand Health. I’ve been a personal trainer for almost ten years and completed my Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2018 then started practising massage in early 2019. I’m passionate about helping people feel better in their bodies and achieving a higher quality of life.

While massage is now my primary focus, exercise is a crucial part of maintaining a healthy and happy body, so Personal Training remains a service for my clients. I even prescribe exercise to many of my massage clients as I believe many symptoms requiring massage are a result of inadequate strength, mobility, endurance or a combination of the three, so you could say my background in health and fitness goes hand in hand with massage therapy. Cheesy, I know!

My spare time is usually spent with my loved ones, including my dog, Hansel, or my hobbies, keeping my mind and hands active, such as woodworking, DIY jobs, and gaming.”

Hansel

Door greeter & nap time extraordinaire

Hansel is Hand in Hand Health’s resident good boy and door greeter. He reminds us to live in the moment and expertly demonstrates how to relax and take naps while our clients receive their massages.

Hansel was approximately 6 months old, living on the streets and captured by the pound then he was taken in by an animal adoption group where he met Long. After meeting, Long knew he had to adopt the beautifully natured Hansel and they’ve been inseparable ever since.
